I collapsed onto the bed and smiled at Bill.
"That... was amazing" I grinned.
"I know" he winked and crawled over to me. I chuckled and wrapped my arms around Bills waist, holding him against my side.

Warmness flooded me and butterflies went wild in my stomach. It was the first time he'd ever said it to me as more than a twin.

I opened my eyes to darkness, I turned and looked at my alarm clock on the table, 4:53 am... I turned back and snuggled into Tom, remembering the blissful time we had shared together. I smiled and wrapped my arm around Tom, feeling my way up his torso until I got to his face, I smiled and gently stroked his cheek with my thumb. I loved the way his skin felt, so soft and smooth...
"Bill?" Tom's muffled voice called out quietly.

He walked out the door with a little lunchpack in his hand. He had made it himself, as he did every day. Mummy never made him lunch, she just left him on his own as she drank and smoked. The road to school weren't long, but long enough for a nine-year-old to walk alone. As he walked other kids from the houses along the road where getting goodbye kisses, hugs and lunch-packs from their parents. Some where holding their parents hand as they walked with them. Never had his mum done
any of that.
He arrived at school and walked straight to his classroom. When he took of his jacket, his teacher went by. She looked at him. He didn't notice. She looked at the little boys arms. They where filled with black and blue bruises. Shaking her head as to get rid of a fly she kept on walking. Not giving any further notice.
